Founder of Caramel Jewellery, the wonderful (I’m not paid to say this btw!) Maxine Becker has always had a special relationship with Bibi Alhaja Bijoux ever since she first came across the brand over 10 years ago.
Not only did she fall in love with the creative design and imaginative use of best quality materials ~ which include crystals (and beads) from Swarovski, heavy silver-plated components, semiprecious stones and natural materials such as leather, wood, and sea-shell ~ but she formed a bond with Wendy and Diane, the two sisters at the very heart of Bibi.
Still operating from their small studio in Holland, the sisters have a dedicated team of local women who handcraft each piece with a dedication and love that has propelled ‘Bibi’ into a trendy and ‘must have’ international brand.
‘Alhaja’ is Moorish for ‘specially made for you’ and that’s what Bibi Bijoux is all about.
Diane rolls her sleeves up to make sure orders are met.
